Chase away winter blues on the 'Munchtime Express' through the Looe Valley

The "Munchtime Express" will soon be steaming once again through the Looe Valley.

Chefs from local restaurants will board the train every Tuesday for three weeks, offering passengers samples of food to enjoy while travelling the scenic line from Looe to Liskeard in Cornwall.

Eateries taking part are all from Looe and include Ocean & Earth Thai restaurant, Trawlers on the Quay and Barclay House.

Rebecca Catterall from the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership, which is helping to coordinate the event, said, "The Munchtime Express is becoming an annual event to put in the calendar.

The train will leave from Looe station at 12.47pm on Tuesdays 20 and 27 November and 4 December for one round trip, returning at 1.50pm.
