Children's charity asks for volunteers to face the ultimate challenge
A children's charity is looking for volunteers to take on the ultimate challenge to raise money for children with life limiting illness.
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) has organised three tandem skydiving weekends where those brave enough can face their fears and freefall from 10,000ft.
The skydives are run at Perranporth Airfield by Cornwall Parachute Company and will take place on February 22 and 23, June 14 and 15 and September 6 and 7.
Head of fundraising at Little Harbour, Emma Lloyd, is asking people to face their fears to raise money for the charity’s hospice in St Austell.

She said: “The skydive is an amazing experience, particularly over the beautiful Cornish landscape and we would encourage anyone who has been thinking about it for a while to take the leap of faith and sign up. Our families rely on donations from people like you so this could be your good deed for the year.”
To take part, volunteers must be over 16 years of age and raise £345 through sponsorship and fundraising which covers the costs of the skydive and a donation of £180 to CHSW.
There is a £50 booking fee when you register.
To find out more about the skydive email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Little Harbour on 01726 871800 to receive an information pack.
