Children's charity to hold skydiving weekends
A LOCAL charity is offering people the chance to face their fears and take part in a skydive from 10,000ft.
Children's Hospice South West has organised three skydiving weekends at Perranporth airfield to raise money for Little Harbour, its hospice near St Austell.
Kiley Tellam who completed the skydive last year in aid of Little Harbour, said: "After six months of car boot sales, supermarket store collections and badgering our friends to donate, our team took to the skies in Perranporth.
"I moved towards the edge of the plane, crossed my arms on my chest and took the leap of faith. The only word that can describe it is exhilarating and most importantly our team raised over £2,000 to go towards the running costs of Little Harbour."
