Programme co-ordinator Kate Francis shows children the different types of chocolate
Activities in the Rainforest Biome are focusing on the history of chocolate, how it was first used, who grows it and how it's become the delicious confectionery enjoyed today.
Meanwhile, expert chocolatiers and producers are tempting tastebuds through out this week with talks on how to smell and sample chocolate like a professional, the truth behind the cocoa trade and even the benefits of "raw" chocolate.

Eden chefs have introduced a special menu, including chocolate, beef and beer stew, savoury chocolate and rosemary biscotti, spiced ice cocoa and Mexican-inspired borlotti bean and winter squash mole.
Kate Francis, Eden's programme co-ordinator, said: "People are falling in love with chocolate all over again at the Chocolate Jungle festival.
"From the cocoa pods in the biome to chocolate tastings, there are lots of delicious ways to learn about one of the nation's favourite treats."
There are also daily hot chocolate tastings in the Eden Bakery at 11am and 3.30pm as well as chocolate lolly-making workshops, which run from 10.30am until 5pm in the Mediterranean Biome.
