Choral gala
MORE than 100 male voices and a single soprano, Michelle Sharley, will provide an outstanding musical taster, on Saturday, of the feast to come at May's Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival.
As choirs around the world ready themselves to converge on Cornwall, a host of South West talent will be performing a Gala Concert ranging from Barbershop to Bach at Redruth Methodist Church.
The gala evening will feature the City of Truro Male Choir, Eight in a Bar, Newquay Male Voice Choir, pictured, and the Truro School Male Voice Choir.
It starts at 7.30pm with tickets, priced £7, available through all participating choirs and at the Hall for Cornwall. They can also be purchased from Miller Countrywide, Redruth, 01209 215594.
