Chosen by you: Customers vote for St John

ASDA customers in Bodmin have chosen the town's St John Ambulance as the latest organisation to receive a community cash award.

An award of £200 is donated every two months by the store, with customers voting for which local good cause should receive the donations after obtaining tokens at the checkouts.

The runner's-up were Bodmin Musical Theatre and Bodmin Army Cadets, both receiving cheques for £50.

The next three chosen causes customers can vote for are Mind, Bodmin Boxing Club and Lanivet Under-5s' Pre-School.
