CHRISTMAS gifts were taken when Newquay was hit with a spate of burglaries.
A Burton Ronin coat, another by Helly Hansen, beanie hats and a yellow and black child's cycle helmet were taken from Godolphin Way some time before Christmas Day.
In the early hours of Christmas Eve at Cavendish Crescent, thieves took a PlayStation 3 games console, Burberry aftershave and Christmas cards containing money.
On December 27, thieves tried to gain entry to a property in Reeds Way by forcing a double- glazed door.
