City leave it late to clinch fourth successive league win
Truro City 1, Hednesford Town 0
City continued their impressive start to the season in the Premier Division of the Zamaretto League with a fourth successive victory thanks to a late goal by Stewart Yetton, writes RHOD MITCHELL.

The entertaining game, which attracted City's best league crowd of the season of 469, looked to be heading for a stalemate when Yetton found the net from close range from Dan Smith's cross as a Hednesford defender desperately tried to clear the ball on the line.
The visitors appealed in vain for offside as Yetton wildly celebrated his first goal of the season by taking off his shirt, which inevitably earned him a booking from referee Adam Bromley.
It was the best game seen at Treyew Road this season with both sides out to try and play football.
Hednesford had won all three of their away matches this season and they began well with Chris Clements' 25-yard drive forcing a top class save out of Martin Rice in the home goal.
At the other end, Hednesford keeper Dan Carne had to be at his best to keep out a free kick from the edge of the area from Martin Watts, while visitors' skipper. Mark Bellingham headed straight at Rice from close range forced another good save out of Rice, effort while City's Andy Watkins suffered a glaring miss he shot over from six yards with the goal at his mercy.
Rice then prevented Kyle Patterson putting Hednesford ahead before Yetton struck to clinch victory and give City their first 1-0 win at this level at the 49th attempt and kept them third in the table.
It was also the perfect present for City player-manager Lee Hodges on his 37th birthday.

“I was at the match with my brother, and yes it was a cracking game, with a lot to admire by both teams. The Truro fans in the 2nd half made a lot of noise, which added to an entertaining match. Well done to Truro, they and Hednesford should be up there when it matters in May. Great Football”
