Truro City boss Steve Thompson has admitted his side's play-off hopes in the premier division of the Zamaretto Southern League are now probably "remote" after Tuesday evening's defeat at Chippenham.

Andy Watkins' 19th goal of the season, early in the second half, looked to be enough to give City a valuable win but then they conceded two sloppy goals in five minutes late in the game.

City are 12 points off a play-off place with 14 matches still to play, starting with Saturday's home game against bottom club Rugby Town (3pm).
