TO SUPPORT her second single, You and I, a collaboration with LA-based act Yellowhammer, fast-rising singer-songwriter Claire Nicolson is embarking on an extensive regional tour, including a date at the Rod & Line, Tideford, on Friday.

This flurry of activity precedes the release of the much-anticipated debut album '52 Card Pick-Up, released on June 6.

Already on rotation on the current Surf TV ad, new single You & I was written and produced by Claire's brother, ex-Primal Scream (Screamadelica) producer Hugo Nicolson, for his new LA-based project Yellowhammer.

It's a paean to cinematic lounge-pop, with its whistling hook, yearning strings, and nostalgic talk of breezes, rivers and whiskey chasers.
