Cliff rescue team help land injured angler at Pendennis Point
An angler who had suffered a suspected broken ankle in a fall at Pendennis Point, Falmouth, was rescued by coastguards yesterday lunchtime. The man, who is believed to be in his 40s, was injured as he made his way down a path to go fishing. Paramedics were first at the scene and alerted Falmouth Coastguard at about 1pm.
