Mark Clive Thornton of Falmouth to appear in court over Acacia Stores robbery
Falmouth man Mark Clive Thornton has been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed instrument following an incident at a newsagent in Acacia Road last month.
Officers were called to Acacia Stores at around 8.45pm on January 5 after the owner had been threatened and a large amount of cash had been stolen.

Mark Clive Thornton will appear at Truro Crown Court
Followiong enquiries the 26-year-old from Dracaena Avenue was arrested and charged on Friday and appeared at Truro Magistrates on Saturday.
No pleas were entered and the case was committed to the Crown Court where he is due to appear tomorrow.
