Carn Brea Leisure Centre Trust, in Pool, is celebrating its most recent exciting venture with the launch of its new training and meeting facilities.

Originally built by Carn Brea Leisure Centre Trust with funding from Sport England, The Hub Club first opened its doors in 2005 as part of a countrywide scheme to support the development of local sports clubs.

After spending two years under the management of Cornwall Council, control of the purpose-built conference facility has recently reverted back to the Charity Leisure Centre and staff are looking forward to welcoming new and existing customers through the door.

The venue, centrally located, right off the A30, has two fully-equipped conference rooms with disabled access and a range of hospitality options: from a light lunch to a full buffet, all provided by the Leisure Centre's on-site cafe.

Events manager, Sharon Christie, said: "Our vision is to be the prime choice of venue for sports clubs and businesses; facilitating any requirements for training and meeting space in an affable environment with friendly staff and a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude.

"We are looking forward to working with the existing customer base, and exploring opportunities to form partnerships with new clubs and businesses. If anyone wants to hold an event with us, or wants to come and have a look around, please don't hesitate to get in touch!"

The facilities are staffed weekdays, 8am-6pm, but can be opened by arrangement during evenings and weekends. For further details contact the centre's bookings coordinators on 01209 717479.
