ILLOGAN Park RFC have announced that they will not be competing in the Tribute Cornwall League One this season due to a player shortage.

Following a player exodus during the summer - 14 players departed - the "Rats" have struggled to find replacements, particularly in the front row area.

St Just are in a similar predicament, although they will continue playing in the league.

Park have, however, been boosted by the news that first-team coach Shaun Maddern will remain at the club.
