Snow is expected to hit Cornwall on Monday as the bitterly cold weather continues.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning to advise residents that the county could see up to 10cms of snow.

Forecasters warned that travel could be disrupted in the area which could hit most of Cornwall with the exception of the far West.

A Met Office spokesman said: “There is the potential for further accumulations of up to 10 cm in places and ice will increasingly become a hazard. The public should be aware of possible disruption to travel.”
