Colour serjeant's dedication recognised
A COLOUR sergeant from Camborne has been recognised for his outstanding service to the Army Cadets.
Christopher Cock was presented with a glass plaque by the platoon commander Colour Sergeant Kelly Tonkin.
Mr Cock, who joined the Army Cadets in 2008, has attended all the annual training camps and obtained the bronze and silver stages of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
His other achievements include playing at the regional rugby events, first aid qualifications, a crossed flags signals instructor level and BTEC level two, with distinction, in public services.

Mr Cock is now leaving the cadets to study an aerospace engineering degree at Brunel University in London.
At his last parade Ms Tonkin thanked him for his dedicated service to the Camborne platoon and the Cornwall Army Cadets.
The platoon meets every Monday at 7pm at the Cadet Centre, North Roskear Road, Camborne.
