"There was a nicely judged balance between comedic monlogues and sketches, some famous, some not so well-known, and the audiences seemed to enjoy it all hugely, she said.
"The evening was nicely paced and there were some real gems, including Bernice Keith's offering of a Victoria Wood sketch where an amateur director gives notes to her cast and crew about their forthcoming production of Hamlet, which was hilarious.
"Along with the well-known "Argument" sketch from Monty Python featuring Michael Fleet, Roger Green and Chrissie Cheshire which went down a storm.
"Final accounts for this production are not yet completed, but we expect to be able to make a donation to Comic Relief and Mount Edgcumbe Hospice, this year's chosen charities."
