Concerns for safety of a 'shoeless' man
Police have appealed for help to try to locate a shoeless man spotted around a Cornish village who, it is feared, may be at the mercy of the elements. The man was seen at a number of locations yesterday morning in Stithians, near Falmouth, including the village store at 8am. He was not wearing shoes and was dressed in a baggy black jumper and dirty cream-coloured trousers, which were later found discarded. It is thought he may have been sleeping rough. Police say they want to trace the man as they are concerned about his welfare in the current cold snap.
