Cornish Pirates forced to make changes for Rotherham Titans visit
Gavin Cattle reclaims the captaincy of the Cornish Pirates for Sunday's important RFU Championship clash with Rotherham Titans at the Mennaye Field (2pm), writes Dick Straughan.
The Welsh scrum-half only returned to action at Moseley last weekend after a month on the sidelines through injury and takes over from Laurie McGlone, who has impressed in his absence. The New Zealander reverts to the role of pack leader.

With no dual-registered players available due to LV= Cup action this weekend and top try-scorer Matt Evans away on international duty with Canada, the Pirates are forced to make several changes in their backs.
Wes Davies comes in at full-back for Jack Nowell, Junior Fatialofa returns at centre after missing last week's game through injury, and Ben Mercer returns on the left wing in place of Evans.

Up front the only change is at tight-head, where Ben Prescott takes over from Alan Paver and will face one of his former clubs.
With the squad down to what head coach Ian Davies described as "the bare bones" the bench effectively picks itself with places for both Darren Semmens and Peter Joyce.
Back row Kyle Marriott, out of action since September with a hamstring problem, has resumed training and will join the squad as a non-playing reserve.
Cornish Pirates: Davies, Pointer, Riley, Fatialofa, Mercer, Penberthy, Cattle (capt); Storer, Elloway, Prescott, Lyons, Johnson, Maidment, Burgess, McGlone. Replacements: Paver, Semmens, Joyce, Barry, Kessell, Hallett, Cheesman.
