The continuing heavy rain has again played havoc with the sporting programme in Cornwall.

In the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, the only game still on in the premier division was at Blaise Park where St Blazey entertain Liskeard with a 3pm kick-off.

In Division 1 West all the games have been called off, apart from at Trevassack Park where Hayle are due to take on Truro City reserves.

But the match was subject to a noon pitch inspection.

In the Jolly's Combination League, the ony match to survive was Goonhavern v St Day at Reen Manor Parc (2.30pm).

The entire East Cornwall League programme was wiped out.

Truro City's home Blue Square Bet South game against Weston-super-Mare was postponed yesterday afternoon.

Rugby has also suffered with the Tribute Cornwall Clubs' tie between St Agnes and Helston called off because the pitch at Enys Parc was waterlogged.
