Cornishman Baby and Toddler of the Year winners
THERE were smiles all round as the winners of the Baby and Toddler of the Year competition were announced.
The Sharp family were delighted to find out that eight-month-old George was named the winner of the 0 to 9 months category, as well as the overall winner after scooping the highest number of votes.
Proud mum Sally Sharp said: "All the family was so excited he won. It was a bit of a shock because they were all lovely."
Baby George received the £100 prize which Mrs Sharp said will be put into a bank account for him.

The winner of the 10 to 18 months category was Yusri Zarrar, whose parents took him along to the photo shoot on the recommendation of a friend. The family were all surprised to find out that Yusri had won the £50 prize. Father Misbah Uddin said: "Everybody was so happy, we are going to buy him some clothes with the money."
Lacey Angove from Penzance took the prize in the 19 to 36 months category after receiving 125 votes. Mum, Roxanne Perry, said: "I couldn't be happier; she's my gorgeous girl. In my heart she was a winner, I'm very proud of her."
Three-year-old Summer Friggens was voted the winner in the 3 to 5 years category. Summer enjoyed posing at the photoshoot said mum, Natalie Friggens.
She added: "When she saw the picture of herself in the paper she said 'I'm going to win' and she has. I couldn't believe it. We are over the moon that she won it."
Nearly 3,000 votes were recorded, with the number of competition entries at 95. Four votes split first and second in the 10 to 18 months category.
