Cornwall celebrations of the Royal Wedding: LIVE blog and pictures
And we're off!
After months of build-up, today's the day our Prince will wed his Princess at Westminster Abbey.
-

What will she be wearing? How many people will sleep on the streets in anticipation of catching a glimpse of the Royal couple? More importantly - what will you be doing in Cornwall to celebrate?
If you haven't told us your plans yet, click here to let us know.
Our live blog and slideshow will be following your updates through the day:

“Matthew PZ
Indeed. We all need doses of the realities for others at times. There are many excellent cures. Excuse the plug:

Along with a million and one other deserving causes helping the poor, sick and disenfranchised, it's a great deal, they give you a lot more than you can give them and can't measure it. with money”

“Thanks for the comments max power, but my statement was not measured or practiced and came out as it would if I was having this discussion in my local. I was not shouting anybody down, it was an expression of my frustration and exasperation with the narrow minded comments that seem to constantly plague this site. Maybe I shouldn't react to it at all and not comment, but I've spent much of my life seeing the consequences of this type of skewed perception and the results aren't pleasant. I am disheartened and ashamed that other human beings cannot just live and let live and have to hijack a day of happiness by spouting their poisonous diatribe. I stand by my comments, nay they don't need to grow up, they need to wake up.”

“Matt
It's a tad hypocritical to to cite ''sad, evil vitriole'' and follow it with '' Get a life and grow up you sad deplorable individuals.''
I expect many of us dislike the Nat debate being reincarnated ad infinitum/nauseum from BOTH sides, but when we shout down the comment of others with ridicule and/or abuse to try to turn this facility into one big back slapping session (and thereby making it redundant), then we'll call it brainwashing.
BTW Jesus has nothing to do with it either.”

“Shame the traffic wardens weren't given the day off, they spent the day hammering St. Austell. Yes, I got a ticket...for being 15 minutes late back to my car. I certainly wasn't the only one though...”

“Matt, you're exactly right. You didn't need to be a royalist to enjoy the fun yesterday, just a normal person living in this country.”

“Jesus, there are some space monkeys on this page! Genocide? What, your parents or grandparents were murdered were they? Oh maybe it was your great grandparents. No, it was an event that occurred over 500 years ago and has no effect on your life now. You live in a country that is wealthy and prosperous and gives you every opportunity to succeed and enjoy your life. It has both good and bad elements to it's history but that is all it is, history. This sad, evil vitriole that is roled out at every opportunity is no different from that which is used to brain wash others in the World to murder. It is poisonous and repugnant. Get a life and grow up you sad deplorable individuals.”

“We are at a anti royal wedding party this evening. Other than that, there were no celebrations I could see today.”

“Some people enjoy turning any happy occasion into a reason to espouse there own form of misery and venom (Onan). The wedding pageant today, to normal people is a fantastic opportunity to admire our country uniting in a lovely event, and a fantastic atmosphere enjoyed by thousands.”

“If you go back far enough Onan you will find we are all descended from Vikings, Romans, Spaniards from the Armada, French from Normandy etc so there is no such thing as a true Cornishman. As for the wedding I've got some paint to watch dry so I'll give it a miss.”
