Cornwall green groups can apply for up to £10,000
Stephen Rushworth, the council's portfolio holder for economy and regeneration, said: "Maintaining the viability and sustainability of community assets and hubs which are important to communities throughout Cornwall is becoming an increasingly difficult challenge for many groups. Running costs for these types of establishment are often prohibitive and can become unsustainable.
"This fund aims to reduce the energy burden of these buildings predominately through supporting energy efficiency measures in assets such as community halls, sports facilities or any other community assets important to the vibrancy and social fabric of an area."
