Cornwall's first female private investigation firm launched in St Austell
LOVE cheats best be on guard as the county's first female private investigation firm gets to work in St Austell.
Justine Thomas, known as Lady J, launched her detective agency in the town earlier this month.
"I used to be a lawyer in St Austell and I specialised in family law, in particular domestic violence cases," she explained.
"I saw quite a bit of what goes on behind closed doors. That's why I wanted to become a private investigator."

Having worked as a family lawyer for ten years, the 41-year-old undertook a diploma in private investigation and qualified in September last year.
"There aren't any other independent female private investigators in Cornwall. That's another reason why I was so keen to get started," she said.
The self-confessed CSI and Dexter fan said she has always had a keen interest in this line of work.
"Once I qualified I couldn't wait to start," she said. "It's taken quite a bit of time just to get the website set up. Now it's all up and running I've had a few jobs come in already and I'm hoping it will pick up."
The modern day Miss Marple offers a range of secretive services to her suspicious clients on a strictly confidential basis.
"It's mostly matrimonial affairs," she said. "I also do missing persons, family relative traces, background checks, partner checks, checks on profiles on online dating sites, agency work and private investigations."
The eagle-eyed investigator mostly works solo but has a small team to help out if needed.
"It's just me but, if I need another investigator, I have a team I can call on. There are two other women and one man I work with," she said.
But with advancements in technology, it's not just all about binoculars and undercover filming these days.
"I do a lot of online surveillance," explained Mrs Thomas.
"If requested, we can set up profiles on social media sites and search for people online. We also do web searches as well as gathering photographic and video evidence."
