TREWARDALE, the grade two listed Georgian country house at Blisland which is home to Vicky and Charles Edward-Collins, entertained guests earlier this month to celebrate the launch of their new website.

The house has been in the family for more than 400 years but is now opening its doors as a wedding and events venue.

Trewardale has successfully been used in the past by Fred Perry, Burberry and Scotch House as a photo shoot location.

The house and garden retain much of their original historic exterior and interior charm and provide a stunning photo shoot location or wedding venue.

Vicky and Charles took on the estate in the Eighties and, as well as farming, have hosted a number of events. They both have a passion for the countryside, hosting and hospitality.

Their son George and daughter Harriet have both been married from Trewardale and the natural progression is to offer their home as a venue for events and weddings.

Trewardale was built in 1763, although records show there has been a dwelling at Trewardale since Domesday.
