"Killerton is an ideal space for learning as its landscape holds great variety and a history for children to become engaged with. We are passionate about education and are keen to engage pupils and get them actively learning while having fun."
Killerton was assessed earlier in the year. The panel of independent judges included Ofsted inspectors, former head teachers, and education consultants.
Lead judge Amanda Phillipson said: "The innovative way in which the grounds are used makes for a full day of fun for visiting school groups."
