A COUPLE who watched friends and family trek around the county searching for the perfect home have set up a business to make the task easier.

Amy Sissons, 27, and Luke Power, 30, from Falmouth, have launched Property Videos, a company which creates short films to advertise houses.

They first had the idea a year ago when they went to look at houses for their parents.

Miss Sissons, whose background is in photography, said: "My parents and Luke's parents were both looking for a home in Falmouth and both live upcountry.

"They spent ages looking at houses on the internet and we would trundle around looking at them. We thought that if these websites had videos of the houses it would be easier for people to short-list appropriate houses to view."

When the couple were selling their own house they made a video and put it on their estate agent's website and feel it really helped with their sale.

They think it would also help professional parents who have less time to view houses.

Miss Sissons said: "My friend and her partner took a week of holiday and came down to look at houses with her five children and found nothing they liked. So they had to book another week off to try again. If they could have viewed the homes through a video I'm sure it would have made their life easier."
