THREE violent crimes, including a knife attack and an attempted robbery, have been linked by police.

Officers believe the same thugs may be responsible for the crimes, which took place between last Friday, November 2, and Monday, November 5.

At 3am on Sunday, a 16-year-old lad was left with a "nasty cut" after robbers slashed his face. A similar incident took place three days earlier on Berry Road, at around 8.30pm.

On Monday night a couple were held up with a weapon, thought to be a BB gun, on Glamis Road.
