Dad died at home
A FORMER Pencalenick School teacher died at his home near Feock of natural causes, an inquest has found.
Father-of-three Nicholas Richard Brigg, 50, died of a haemorrhage into the brain stem on July 16.
He was found at his home in Trevilla by Pencalenick School teaching assistant and close friend Diana Mills, who visited while Mr Brigg's second wife, Alison, was in Scotland.
When his father, Malcolm, called two days earlier, Mr Brigg told him he was "feeling a bit strange and could feel something coming on".
Mrs Brigg said her husband often complained of having a sore head and felt he had high blood pressure, but tests by his GP did not discover any problems.
At an inquest into his death on Tuesday, coroner Barrie Van Den Berg ruled Mr Brigg died from natural causes.
