Dairy workers' 22-mile charity cycle
Staff from a milk processing company in Cornwall have raised more than £6,000 for charity on a sponsored cycle ride.
After a staff member at Robert Wiseman Dairies, in Pensilva, near Liskeard, was diagnosed with cancer, staff at the firm began fundraising for Cancer Research UK.
Some 51 riders took part in a 22-mile bike ride across the Cornish hills.
Vicky Dodge, of Wiseman Dairies, who also organised a barbecue to help raise funds for the cause, said: "We've held a charity cycle ride in the past and raised £1,000, but when I saw the final figure we raised this time I was really chuffed as it was £6,001.70."
