THE BMW 3-series has been named BusinessCar Magazine's 2013 car of the year.
BMW collected the manufacturer of the year title and two car category victories as the German premium brand continued to illustrate its dominance when it comes to desirability and efficiency in the business car market.
The BusinessCar Awards are the only awards in the industry that are solely decided by the readership, both online and in print.
Vauxhall's Ampera was chosen as the best green model, while leasing company Alphabet repeated its 2012 success with the service supplier of the year award.

There was also a notable achievement for Kwik-Fit Fleet, which celebrated 20 years of uninterrupted success in the fast-fit category.
The 3-series triumphed in the headline award ahead of the second-placed Ford B-max, with Audi's A3 voted into third place.
Ford followed this up with two car sector awards, with the Focus winning lower medium car of the year and the S-max best MPV.
"BMW is still at the head of the industry when it comes to vehicle efficiency, driving dynamics, running costs and vehicle desirability, all of which are crucial to the business car market," said BusinessCar editor, Paul Barker.
"It's no surprise to see the new BMW 3-series follow in the wheeltracks of the 1-series, which took the 2012 Business Car of the Year award, and it shows that those people operating fleets of vehicles understand and appreciate the job BMW is doing.
"The quality of product and service across the business car market is unprecedented, so the winners should take huge pride in being voted best in the industry by the people whose business relies on them – the readers of BusinessCar magazine and www.businesscar.co.uk
"The business car market is, quite rightly, more demanding than ever, so those companies that have picked up prizes should be delighted with their achievement."
