“Want a laugh? There's an old chesnut been doing the rounds again.
True Tale From St Ives:
A St Ives hotel was booked for a wedding over the weekend of May 18-20 2012.
Beckham wants the hotel for him and his entourage.
Beckham's agent calls the couple.
Agent: ' How much is your mortgage?'
Couple: ' Around £1/4M '.
Agent: ' If we pay off your mortgage, will you postpone your wedding?'
Couple: 'Done.'
Unfortunately it's bunch of old hooey!!

"Out of a world population of almost 7 billion I think "not many" is a fair reflection. But here we go again you just don't get it.
On a more positive and encouraging note I and many more were very pleased to see Cornwall in the spotlight as the county to receive the Olympic flame and I guess most of the Country will be looking forward to a wonderful 2012 Olympics in London, Weymouth etc.
[..]"
=======================================
What a crass statement to attempt to dig yourself out of a hole that you dug for yourself, earlier in this thread.
Perhaps we should place your second paragraph within the same context frame and then do a comparison. If it were possible to do, then I would be prepared to guarantee that there are more people around the world that are interested in peoples' rights, including Cornish Rights, than are interested in expensive Window-dressing and commercial hype for the purpose of making money and always trying to outdo the last event..
As for the sporting fraternity, I wish them all the very best in their personal endeavours. A pity that it is not all about sport and athletics etc.
As for WHO "does not get what", you do not particularly come across, to be frank, as being at all a very enlightened individual.”

"@KernowGB Not many really care about Cornwalls Constitution, so why not make some nice positive and encouraging comments about the 2012 Olympics, which is what this article is about."
---------------------------------------------------------------
That does sound quite hypocritical, considering that you were the one that initiated this aspect of the discussion and I am simply responding to the other 'nice' people that are following your lead.
You say that "not many care about Cornwall's Constitution" - another matter of fact that you cannot possibly substantiate! - but, from a 'Cornish' perspective it represent a serious 'crime' against the Cornish people and their Rights, as explained in a previous post and elsewhere.
It certainly speaks volumes that you 'nice' people consider such a matter 'unimportant' and begs the question as to what you would consider to be reprehensible?”

“people being 'done over' by bully boy cops
people acting as torch bearers and selling their torches on eBay before they have even reached home
100,000 people turn out to see this commercialised fiasco out of a population of half a million (Kernow) and 1.15 million (Devon) total 1.65 million
Yep, I reckon a lot of us saw through this scam!”

"KernowGB, NO Unitary Authority in the UK is called a COUNTY so Cornwall is no different from any other."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Where have I ever said anything about Unitary Authorities? If you reread my previous four postings you will see that you are seeking to compare apples with pears. Constitutionally, Cornwall is unique within this Imperial multinational State, as discussed elsewhere.
Can anyone explain this?
