Deal between co-op and farm holiday group
A meeting at the South Molton branch of Mole Valley Farmers between MVF management and the farm holiday group Devon Farms Accommodation could herald a new mutually beneficial partnership.
The majority of farms belonging to Devon Farms are already MVF customers on the farming side, but as far as sourcing for their B&B and self-catering businesses is concerned, there is potential for MVF to play a significantly greater role as a supplier.
In addition, with the right targeted marketing the thousands of families that stay on farms every year could provide a new customer base for MVF – including a growing local food sector.
MVF already helps distribute the Devon Farms' brochure through its branch network, and is willing to see how it can work with the farm holiday group to better supply their accommodation businesses.
