Death of man, 76, treated as 'suspicious'
Police are treating the death of a 76-year-old man as suspicious. Officers were called to Marlborough House on Granby Way, in Devonport, Plymouth, at about 12.10pm on Thursday after concerns were raised for the welfare of an elderly resident. The police entered a flat and discovered the man's body. Paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are treating the death as unexplained death but suspicious. The man's family have been informed and a formal identification was due to take place.
