Decision on Coyte Farm will not be made with other St Austell supermarket applications
A DECISION on a major £110 million retail development will not be made alongside two other St Austell supermarket applications as originally planned.
Avid campaigners have been awaiting a date for the Cornwall Council planning meeting that will discuss Coyte Farm.
The plans would see a 160,000sq ft, out-of-town retail park built on 98 acres of green land at St Mewan.
It would include a Sainsbury's with eco-credentials, a Marks and Spencer store, care home, pub and petrol station.

A decision was first due to be made in January alongside applications for a supermarket and new council offices in Penwinnick Road, and a Morrisons in Pentewan Road.
The Cornish Guardian can reveal that a decision on these two applications is set to be made by the strategic planning committee on Monday, March 18.
But a date for Coyte Farm is still unknown.
"Coyte Farm will not be considered at this meeting, but at a later committee when all outstanding matters have been addressed," said a council spokeswoman.
"The GVA report [into Coyte Farm's impact on the town centre] has not been finalised as yet and the impact of the scheme in respect of retailing is one of the outstanding issues to be resolved.
"Others include issues raised by the Environment Agency in respect of drainage; issues raised by highways and an objection from English Heritage."
