Rail services in Plymouth were disrupted after a lorry became stuck under a bridge. The vehicle was wedged under a bridge on Ashford Hill, Mutley. Police were called and Network Rail said train services through the city were delayed as it had to impose a 20mph speed restriction. The lorry, belonging to nationwide distributor Palmer and Harvey, was pulled free and the road reopened. The firm said that it was "investigating the incident fully" and apologised to anyone affected by the delays.
