Dobwalls made to work hard for win at Perranporth
Perranporth 1, Dobwalls 2
-

DOBWALLS ran out deserved winners at Ponsmere Valley, but Paul Andrews' men certainly made hard work of it.
The visitors were dominant for long spells of an entertaining game and goals from Martyn Hake and Dan Tapper either side of the break should have had Perranporth out of sight, but a goal from Bryan Hawke ensured a nervy finale.

Hake gave Dobwalls a 42nd minute lead when he rolled the ball into the bottom corner from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the box by Paul Baldwin.
Tapper then made it 2-0 in the 71st minute when his shot took a big deflection to beat Perranporth goalkeeper Andy Butcher.
The hosts hit back just a minute later when Hawke followed up after Dean Harris' penalty was saved by Tom Beman.
Perranporth then enjoyed their best spell of the game in search of an equaliser, but with Darryl Johnson particularly impressive at the back, Dobwalls hung on to claim the points.
