STAFF at the Carnewater Practice in Bodmin will be stepping back in time to the 1940s to help raise funds for Children In Need.

This week Dr David Farrar, has been sponsored by staff and patients to do a blindfolded taste test of 1940s wartime food.

Medical secretary Charlotte Trevains said: "The blindfolded tasting has been done as part of Carnewater staff going back to the 1940s for Children in Need day."

On Friday staff will all be in fancy dress, holding a cake stall and guess the weight of the cake competition at the Dennison Road surgery. There will also be a collection box.
