A 20-year-old woman was cut from the wreckage of her car on Thursday following a collision with a tractor on the A30 in Cornwall. Firefighters from the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service had to remove the roof of the woman's Renault Clio following a collision with a New Holland tractor. The crash caused police to close the road near Catchall for just under three hours. The woman, who is from the Penzance area and is though to have suffered head injuries, was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, after the incident at 6.05pm. Highways re-opened the road at 8.45pm.
