Assault charge
FELIX ROONEY, aged 34, living on a travellers' caravan site at Truro Heights, Truro, pleaded not guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court to a charge of assaulting his wife Anne-Marie Rooney causing her actual bodily harm on February 5.
An application for a remand on bail was denied by the magistrates, who remanded him in custody to February 15, when he will next appear in court via a video link.
