Eaterie reopens this week
A WELL-KNOWN Penzance restaurant, closed after an argument about a leaking roof, is set to reopen this week.
Wendy and Frank Darmanin have taken over the Blue Snappa, Market Place.
After completely replacing the kitchen, bar and flooring, the pair are looking forward to launching the venue, being renamed 35, hopefully on Saturday.
"A lot of people know we are taking the premises over," said Mrs Darmanin, owner of fashion company Mash.

"We have had a lot of positive comments from people looking forward to the opening and we hope that we can cater for all different tastes."
The former Blue Snappa owners left the premises in October after falling out with landlords Simpson Brothers over contracts and repair bills for a leaking roof.
Mrs Darmanin said the old menu had been tweaked but included firm favourites like pizza, burgers and steaks. In addition all the kitchen staff have been kept on.
