Elderly couple left hanging in car near Truro
An elderly couple were left in their car hanging off a riverbank after an accident this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Probus to Tregony Road at approximately 8.45am

Police said a Ford Focus was found hanging from the bank with an elderly couple inside.

Firefighters from Truro and Camborne released the couple from the car.
They were then taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for treatment but their injuries were not thought to be serious.
