Elderly woman had to be cut from her car after collision at Canonstown
WEST Cornwall emergency services were called out to two road traffic collisions at the same time this lunchtime.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to an incident involving four vehicles on the A30 at Arch Lane, Canonstown just after midday.
An elderly woman had to be cut from her car and was taken to Treliske although her injuries are not believed to be serious.
One crew of six firefighters from Penzance was joined by a five man team from Camborne.

A statement from the fire service said: "One casualty was trapped in one of the vehicles, fire crew worked along side Paramedics for 30 minutes removing the roof and side door for extrication of the casualty."
The road was cleared at 13.50pm.
The other incident was a single car crash at Goldsithney on the B3280, Marazion roundabout, where a silver Toyota was found to be on its roof and leaking petrol.
The 29-year-old driver had managed to get out of the car by the time the fire service and ambulance arrived at the scene after a call at 11.50am.
He was checked out by paramedics and given the all clear at the scene.
A spokeswoman for the police said: "The driver has been reported for offences."
Recovery of the vehicle was finished at 14.40pm.
