Little Beside House is in central Cornwall in the village of St Day, near Redruth. It was built in the early 19th century and is a fine example of a stuccoed country manor house.

It has many significant architectural details, notably the geometric galleried landing and large staircase and as a result has Grade II listed status.

The generous accommodation includes five reception rooms, five bedrooms and five bathroom or shower rooms. At the rear is a charming walled garden, while to the front, separated by the drive, the grounds are extensive and bounded by trees.

The historic hamlet of Little Beside lies close to the former tin mining settlement of St Day in mid-Cornwall, west of Truro. The house was built due the wealth derived from the mining carried out nearby in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The villages surrounding Little Beside owe their prosperity in the past to Cornwall's important and prosperous mining industry and as such there are a handful of large houses built in the Georgian period for the engineers and industrialists.

The property is well-connected, just a few miles from the main A30. St Day is four miles inland of the renowned surfing beach of Porthtowan on the north coast of Cornwall and eight miles from the sailing waters of the Fal Estuary on the south coast.
