Engagement ring stolen in Newquay burglary
POLICE are hunting for a burglar who broke into a Newquay home this week and stole six gold rings - including an engagement ring - and other jewellery.
The offender forced a locked UPVC window at the property in School Road, Summercourt, and stole the jewellery from the bedroom.

Items taken were six rings, including a gold signet ring, an engagement ring, two eternity rings and a thin rose gold band. The rings predominately contain sapphires or a blend of sapphires and diamonds.
The offender also escaped with a sapphire and diamond gold necklace, bracelet and earring set from the house on Tuesday January 15.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in School Road between 8.30am and 12.30pm on the day of the burglary or anyone who may have been offered the jewellery for sale.
