Events held in memory of popular mum
A FUNDRAISER in memory of a popular mother from Truro who died suddenly of cancer is being held this month.
Cassie Tann, 35, died just three weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.
In her memory friends and family have come together to raise cash for charities that helped Cassie.
On September 28 from 11am to 4pm at Trelander Community Centre there will be live music, bouncy castles, a dance company and a raffle, with proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Care.

This is the second event in Cassie's memory. Earlier this month friends Kelly Pedlar and Sarah Phillips organised an event at Probus Comrades Club in aid of St Julia's Hospice, which cared for Cassie. Pop star Peter Andre donated a signed, personalised book for the raffle at this event.
