Ex-Truro City manager wants to save club from liquidation
Former Truro City player and manager Steve Massey has called on all those serious about saving the club from liquidation to join with him and act before it is too late.
Unless a buyer is found in the next few days then the club's last game will almost certainly be at home to Bath City in Blue Square South on Tuesday.
The players and management, who are not being paid, have said they will quit after that match, leaving the club, which went into administration at the start of the month, facing liquidation and a bleak future.
Massey, who was a leading member of City's successful sides of the early 1990s and later went on to manage the club as one of former chairman Kevin Heaney's first appointments, is a passionate fan of the club and does not want to see it go to the wall.

He has already registered an interest with the administrators – there are said to be five other interested parties – but has been unable to proceed because of a lack of precise figures on the cost involved in taking over the troubled club.
"I have been promised information today but at the moment we do not really know what exactly is involved," he said.
And the successful businessman wants others to come forward and join him in a desperate race against time to try and put together a package to keep the club afloat.
He said: "I am not prepared to take it on alone with all that involves. That has been a weakness of the club.
"But I would like other interested parties to get in touch with me and see if we can go forward."
