Exhibition is devoted to highlighting pupils' creativity

COLOUR and flair have filled Newquay Sports Centre for the annual Newquay Tretherras Art Exhibition.

The showcase highlights work from every pupils who took the GCSE art, and A level art and photography courses at the school.

The catalogue of work shows off everything from traditional drawing, painting and large-scale sculptures to mixed-media reliefs, portraiture, textile design and digitally created masterpieces.

Head of art Phil Strugnell said: "I was very proud to see so many parents and students at the private view.
