Extra meetings over council cuts planned
Three new venues have been added to a series of budget consultation events being held across Cornwall.
Cornwall Council has added meetings in Falmouth, St Ives and Liskeard to the 19 meetings already scheduled in September and October.
The council expects to see its budget cut by £196 million by 2019, on top of £170 million saved since 2010. Consultation meetings have already been held across Cornwall, with each attended by between 15 and 60 people
Cabinet member for finance and resources Alex Folkes said: "Cornwall Council will be very different in four years' time and we want as many people as possible to help us shape our future direction".

The meetings take place at Liskeard Town Council on September 27 between 3pm and 4.30pm. October 8 at the Methodist Church, on Killigrew Street in Falmouth between 10am and 11.30am. and the same day from 2pm at the Guildhall in St Ives.
