FA Cup misery for fragile Truro City
Brislington 3 Truro City 2
City's hopes of a good FA Cup were ended when they suffered a shock second qualifying round defeat at Western League premier side Brislington.
In a tie, in which they twice led through Cody. Cooke and Neil Slateford, the visitors went out when they conceded an 81st minute goal.
It was another bad day for City and manager Steve Massey but despite his obvious disappointment, he vowed to turn results around and also received the backing of chairman Peter Masters, who said they would be stepping up their search for two new strikers.

But it was defensively City were found badly wanting as they gave away three sloppy goals to a Brislington side who reached the third qualifying round for the first time.
It all began so well for City who went ahead after ten minutes with a cracking 25 yard strike from Cooke.
But ten minutes later poor marking from a Mike Rimmer corner allowed Nejekil Plummer to head home.
However, City were back in front a minute later with Slateford's low drive finding the back of the net.
And City finished the half on top but after the break their performance fell away as the home side pushed forward.
It took Brislington just seven minutes to get back on level term, when defender Danny Barwood forced the ball home when City failed to clear a corner.
Slateford had a goal ruled out for offside but the game looked to be heading for a replay when, with nine minutes left, Rimmer was given far too much space in the area and made it 3-2.
City tried to come back but were unable to find an equaliser as the chance of £4500 in prize money slipped away.
